Stand up golf was developed by NASA consulting rocket engineer and professional golfer Al Delgado.
After years of playing competitive golf at a high level Al began to experience back pain and noticed a drop in his ball striking skills.
As he pondered giving up the game that he loved he started to do research into the dynamics of the golf swing. What he discovered was Stand Up Golf.
Our bodies are designed to stand upright; it is the most natural position in our everyday lives. Why are we bent over so much to hit a golf ball?
Because our clubs are short?
Traditional golf clubs are designed for the masses, based on 50 years of primitive golf club design.
What Al found was by adding length to his irons he regained and developed simple motor skills with his dominant hand was able to control and increase his club head speeds, bring back his center club face impact and relieve pressure from his aching back. Stand Up Golf was born!
